‘Out of My Hands’ is a deeply personal debut album from seasoned songwriter and performer, Willow.

Ranging from reflective to evocative to joyous, it was produced by Adrian Hannan (Delta Goodrem, Vanessa Amorosi) and David Carter (multi award winning duo Carter and Carter) at Ritzland Studios in Melbourne.

The first single ‘Release’ and second single ‘Small Hometown’ charted in the Top 40 and Top 10 on the National Country Airplay Chart consecutively, receiving national airplay with KIX FM, MMM Country, ABC Country and 98.9 FM amongst others, whilst his clever and fun film clips continue rotation on CMT.

The third single ‘Please Make It Me’ has been released in conjunction with his much anticipated album.

The physical album launch is in the Capitol Theatre on the 20th April at this year's Tamworth Country Music Festival

Willow is a finalist for the Australia Country Music People’s Choice awards 2022 in the Most Popular Male Vocalist and New Talent categories

'Please Make It Me' is the third single taken from emerging singer/songwriter Willow's debut album 'Out Of My Hands' and is sure to follow in the footsteps of his first two hit single releases, 'Release' and 'Small Hometown', in finding a home on radio stations all around Australia and overseas. It is a melancholy song in the vein of 'Tenterfield Saddler' which asks the question of a father's acceptance and love.

"For many years I was at a loss as to who I am and where I fit in. When I wrote 'Please Make It Me' I realised what was missing was the validation and love of my father. This is an important song to me, and I believe it will resonate deeply with many families who live with the consequence of emotionally distant fathers." Willow

This beautiful track 'Please Make It Me' is a stand out on Willow's debut album 'Out Of My Hands', which has just been released, and is a very personal window into the soul of an artist who is willing to share his true life experience through his unique gifts as a singer and songwriter.

'Small Hometown' is the second single release from emerging artist Willow and follows the incredible success of his debut single 'Release' which was quickly added to playlist rotation on many of the major country networks and stations including Triple M Country, Kix Country, ABC Country, 98.9FM and Australian Country Radio, plus many more. 'Release' also debuted on Saturday Night Country with Beccy Cole as the opening song of the show in the first week of its release.

Willow's new single, 'Small Hometown', is his cheeky homage to growing up and living in a small town in Central Queensland. The song encapsulates the essence in which country people go about their lives; with good will and a great sense of humour. Another radio-ready, tantalising taste of Willow's music as he heads towards his debut album launch at the 2022 Tamworth Country Music  Festival.

‘Release’ is an inspiring high-energy track that paints a picture of connection to the land in all its rugged beauty, produced by multi-award winning producers David Carter (Carter & Carter) and Adrian Hannan (Vanessa Amorosi, Delta Goodrem).

About his debut single, Willow says:

“I have travelled so much of this country and its beauty is breathtaking.  I am spiritually connected to the land as much as I am to the Milky Way and all that is between.  'Release' is my love letter to the captivating landscape I call home.”
